COVID-19 / Health Insurance for travel to Israel
  • Visa application form. Fully completed and signed application form.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. Include a passport style photo (5x5 cm), with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a charge associated with this service.

  • Itinerary. A copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on itinerary.

  • Proof of accommodation. A copy of hotel reservations or other lodgings for the duration of the trip. The applicant's name must be on the reservation.

  • Bank statement. A copy of the applicant's most recent monthly bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds. The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement.

  • Pay Stubs. Copies of most recent pay stubs.

  • Proof of status. A copy of immigration status in the country of residence such as a resident card, work, or study permit.

  • Confirm if transit visa is required for any connections.

    Check with your airline in case you have connecting flights overseas as part of your journey to Israel. It may be the case that countries you pass through en route to your destination may require a separate transit visa. Please refer to visa requirements of the specific country

    Israel COVID-19 travel restrictions

    • Entry is partially open
      Israel's borders are open to vaccinated individuals. A person is considered vaccinated if no more than 180 days have passed since completing full vaccination.

      Qualified vaccinated foreign nationals can enter Israel through Ben Gurion Airport under the following conditions:

      - If they had not been to a red-listed country for the 14 days before entering Israel; and
      - If they have been vaccinated with a vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) or if their recovery is in accordance with the procedure required in Israel.
      Prior to arrival restrictions
      Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.
      Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if you need visa and apply.
      Negative COVID-19 test prior to arrival required for all travellers arriving from abroad. Test must have been taken within the 72 hours prior to departure to Israel.
      📝Health form must submitted 24h before arrival. All travelers must register in advance.
      Upon arrival restrictions
      🏠Quarantine: Anyone arriving to Israel will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days. This may be reduced to 7 days if testing negative twice.

      Israelis returning from abroad and who have been fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 in Israel, are required to quarantine only for 24 hours, until receiving negative test result.
