Singapore Visa Policy
The Immigration Act of 1959 is the foundational law that regulates the inflow and outflow of visitors in Singapore. This law spells out a foreign national's requirement to get a visa. According to Singaporean Immigration Law, all visitors must hold visas to enter the island unless they are from visa-exempt countries.
Visas are issued for several reasons, such as work, study, tourism, business, and more, and these visas are subject to certain conditions.
The number of visa exempt countries and territories has recently increased, with many foreign nationals allowed to enter the country without visas and stay for 30-90 days, depending on their originality. Those whose countries do not appear on the list must apply for a visa which can be done at the embassy or online. In a nutshell, the law stipulates that all visitors, regardless of their country of origin, must
Hold a passport with more than 6 months of validity
A flight ticket for return or onward travel
Have sufficient funds for their expenses
Have an entry document for their next destination where applicable
Have a certificate for yellow fever vaccination
These conditions are mandatory for all visitors from visa-exempt or non-visa-exempt countries. Apart from the above, all visitors must show an SG Arrival Card, including Singaporean citizens (not required for citizens who enter by land).
SG Arrival Card
The SG Arrival Card is a card that contains your personal information, health declaration, and travel details. With this card, you will be allowed into Singapore, even with a visa. Visitors must apply for the Arrival Card at least three days before their trip using an online link. The card is free of charge and is not a substitute for visas.

Singapore E Visa Information
Before you submit your application for any of the above e visas, here is some vital information to bear in mind.
Photograph: Your digital photograph must meet the standard requirements; otherwise, your application will be rejected. Photos must appear on a white background; only recent ones are accepted, not older than six months.
Passport: The passport you use must have a minimum validity of six months from the travel date.
Travel Information: When providing your travel information, include the flight number, dates, and airline details. This information must tally with what is on your flight ticket.
Application Timeline: Due to the possibility of delays, submitting your application at least a week or more before the day you plan to travel is advisable. Advanced submission will give you enough waiting room to get the Visa. You should also note that this Visa can only be applied outside Singapore, not inside it.
Travel With The Same Passport: When traveling to Singapore, make sure you travel with the same passport you used for the application and not a different one. Showing up at the immigration checkpoint with a different passport will lead to entry denials, and the e-visa is linked to the passport you used for the application.
Don't Overstay: This Visa only allows you to stay for 30 days unless under special conditions where extended stay is allowed. You should leave the country on or before the last day of grace to avoid the risk of sanctions.
